I would ask your doc if they know someone who can teach you relaxation/stress reduction techniques. These life coaches/therapists can help you move on with your life with a new skillset. While you learn the skills, you may uncover and deal with suppressed thoughts or encounters that add to the issue. Do the work and life can get better.

It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water.
