Weird sour taste in mouth mostly in side that i feel sinus pressure/congestion. now keep smelling a foul odor. i suffer from dry sinus often where i feel pressure but nose is dry. used a rinse and feel mucus coming. why the taste and smell?

The foul taste and smell coming from the side that is tender is most likely related to an infection. It would be important to see an ENT physician and have the region of foul smell be cultured . There are bacteria and fungal infections that can infect our sinuses. Before treatment it’s important to know what organism we are dealing with.
