A member asked:

Had pain in the upper side of stomach for a month. tested pos. for helicobacter pylori. got a treatment which contains 2 antibiotics for a week and a ppi for two weeks. now after 11 days i still have exactly the same pain. can it take so long time?

I hope you complete the course of antibiotics anyway, and follow up with you care provider. It is possible that the positive H. pylori is not what was causing the pain and was an incidental finding. See medical provider if there is worsening of symptoms as soon as possible.
