Is Negative HIV RNA and 4th Gen Ab/Ag conclusive after 34 days post exposure?
Help! I had unprotected vaginal sex with a now know HIV positive woman. I had RNA Quantitive test negative at 11 days and a 4th Gen Ab-Ag test negative at 23 days. Are these conclusive? Started showing ARS like symptoms 10 days after exposure?
I have taken 3 HIV test. 2 of them were 4th gen Duo test done at 25 and 42 days after exposure. I also took a HIV RNA PCR at 5 weeks post exposure. All of these test were negative. Is there a need to continue testing ? No new exposures?
97 days from exposure tested with a 4th genw/reflex and rna hiv 1 ql drawn from vein lab..all were negative. A 4th gen w/reflex @ 4months negative. But still have white spots and sores and lyphnotes. Do I exclude hiv? Or keep testing? Going to dr?
Is a negative HIV RNA PCR test conclusive at 21 days after a potential exposure? What about a negative 4th gen Duo test at 28 days? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated?
