Can a endoscopy upper gi cause consipation? thanks?

A gastroscopic examination ends in the duodenum which shouldn't affect bowel movements. If constipation is persistent & of recent origin, a colonoscopy would be indicated unless you had one within rather recently.

HIDA scan shows EF of 17% with bloodwork, URQ ultrasound (no stones) and upper GI endoscopy all showing normal results. I have been having pain in the URQ, being the reason for testing. Is it dire to get my GB out, or can I check alternatives first?
