Asked my internist if i can get evusheld since i am immunocompromised and she said you can only go to an infectious disease md for this. i called the office of the chief of infectious disease at northwell and they don't have it. what should i do?

I doubt its effectiveness against the new variants. If you have confirmed infection, use Paxlovid in the first three days if possible and a long 10 day course is recommended by my opinion for avoiding rebound unless you can't take this drug due to contraindication.
