I have vagina candidas glabrata infection. no diabetes, not immunocompromised. not sure why i have it? infectious disease specialist told me it could be due to covid vaccine?

Wear loose clothing, breathable underwear, and try eating probiotic yogurt as the lactobacillus may counteract the candida.If you have a regular partner consider having them treated as well. f/u/ w/ MD

There is no special reason people have C. glabrata versus other yeasts, like C. albicans. It's just random luck, maybe part of your normal intestinal organisms. I don't see how it could be related to COVID vaccination; probably the ID doc was just guessing. As discussed in your other questions, probably s/he prescribed alternate (non azalea) treatment. Take as directed, but don't dwell on origins.
