You can watch for increasing redness, swelling and tenderness of the skin. Usually these will not become infected especially since you cleaned the area and used the neosporin. You can apply that 2-3 times a day until it is healed, but be careful not to get the neosporin cream in the eye itself. It it gets progressively swollen and tender you might need oral antibiotic, but this is rare.
