Cat Scratch Disease has a rare occurrence, though a cat infected with Bartonella henselae from fleas can transmit from a scratch as well as a bite. A common finding is a rash and enlarged lymph nodes on the neck/arm (from a hand scratch/bite). Diagnosis is typically clinical and treatment is with antibiotics.
