Red pee can be broken down blood (hemoglobin) or the breakdown of muscle (myoglobin). Sorting out the cause would require an evaluation. My thoughts do not go to syphilis as a likely cause.

Yes. Syphilis does not cause hematuria. yes some can-but rarely. If you have had no exposure it is not VD. But for 'red urine' pl see a Urologist
