It has to do more with the reason for why you are having bloodwork as 2 normal values for your platelets would not be enough to call it a trend. Or in other words if it’s believed that a condition you suffering from may affect your platelet count then repeating the test may make sense, as it would clarify if really trending low or not.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are not a cause for conern. Wish you good health!
