The top of my eyelid is swollen and when i touch the eyelid it hurts so i just want to know what it is and some home remedies?

Could be "sty." Try warm compresses a few times a day over the affected eye. In case of no improvement or development of thick eye discharge, contact your PCP.

This is most likely a chalazion (stye), if so warm compresses 3 x per day (do not microwave the cloth) and oral fish oil tabs 2x per day. If this fails after a few days see an ophthalmologist.
