Had a "us liver" exam done and just got the results. polyp along gallbladder wall w/ thick/wide stalk measuring approx. 5 x 3 x 5 mm. they're commonly asymptomatic, but i have had severe pain in both upper left and right quad. is this likely the prob?

I doubt that this polyp is causing any symptoms. Nevertheless I think it's important to obtain a consultation with an abdominal surgeon for advice regarding how to follow this gall bladder polyp or whether to simply remove it as polyps of 6 mm or more are usually removed.
