A member asked:

If unsuccessful, how long after pep will seroconversion be delayed? and when can i take a final 4th generation combo test for it to be conclusive? would an hiv viral load test be conclusive 4 weeks after last dose of pep?

After taking PEP, the blood test "window" starts with the last dose of drug and is about 4 weeks for RNA testing (viral load) and 6 weeks for the AgAb (4th generation, "combo") tests. However, some experts recommend AgAb testing as long as 3 months after the last dose. Your negative viral load test at 4 weeks probably is conclusive, but you also should have an AgAb test at 6 weeks.
