My first dose of pep was at 65 hrs (9am) post exposure and it was only truvada. the next day i had truvada at (9am) again and took tivicay at (4pm) and continued to take both at 9 am everyday for the next 30 days. will pep be ineffective?

IF you were truly exposed to HIV (high risk event like unprotected anal sex with a known infected partner), the PEP you took is 80-90% likely to be effective in preventing HIV. Other kinds of sexual exposure are far lower risk. Probably all will be well, but you'll need HIV testing through at least 6 weeks after last dose of PEP. Good luck.
