No. Cardiolipin is one of phospholipid. Individuals infected with syphilis develop antibody against cardiolipin (anticardiolipin). The RPR & VDRL tests have been utilized as screen tests for syphilis which detect the presence of anticardiolipin in the blood of tested individuals.
