HPV auto-inoculation (self transfer of infection to a new body area) is believed to be uncommon, but may explain some oral infections. This is an entirely separate issue from performing oral on your wife, but her vaccination makes it very unlikely. HPV never causes the symptoms you describe. Oral HPV usually is harmless, rarely warts, cancer, or other health problems. You should not be worried.

Anything can happen in medicine but what you describe is a rare thing.your symptoms dont sound like from HPV. If they persist get checked by an ENT doc.
