I have noticed hair thinning though i have good amount of hairs on my scalp,any chances of androgenic alopecia ?however nobody in my extended family has any hair problem, my grand father had good hair when he was 90, my father is 60+ with good hairs?

Male pattern baldness has a strong genetic component, so if there is no baldness on either side of your family, the chances are much less. But it's still possible to develop baldness. Some degree of hair thinning is normal with aging, even among those who do not develop baldness.
