If you had salmonella months ago but still are experiencing 2 of 3 reactive arthritis symptoms would the salmonella still be detectable as the cause, and whether it is or not how would the cause be determined? thank you! jodi?

These complications represent an immune response triggered by the germ that mistakenly attacks tissue in the joints as if they were chasing away the germs. Please discuss the issue with your doc who can help decide if you need other testing or treatment.
