It is not common to transmit HPV to your child during the daily care. If you want to be strict do not use same bathing towel and if possible, wash your hand with soap before taking you child. Kissing your child does not transmit the virus. Please note that intact skin (on cut, no abrasion or no prolonged friction) and mucosa are not susceptible to HPV.

Get oral check for HPV. If negative all your activity with your baby are fine, If positive continue loving the child just refrain from kissing in the mouth. You are not a bad mom- just concerned- and rightly so. Good luck
