Medication with aspirin during pregnancy may be used for prophylaxis for blood clotting, since pregnancy is a hyper-coagulable state with elevated fibrinogen and risk for blood clots is elevated. There is not enough clinical information given to support this medication provided in your question, but see your OB physician and ask for an explanation.
