I am a 41 year old female, nonsmoker. if i have oral lichen planus, is it safe for me to get breast implants? i read that olp is an autoimmune disease. can you please advise if i should refrain or if it's okay to have the implants. thank you?

Breast implants (mostly textured type) have a rare complication of Breast Implant Associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Again, it happens rarely. OLP is not a contra-indication to get breast implants. Smooth surfaces gel filled or saline filled implants are fairly safe.
