This merits a visit to one's doctor since a careful history and physical exam are required for an accurate diagnosis. The liver is located under the right lower ribs; if one has a leak of the tricuspid valve, the resulting right heart failure can cause a pulsating liver. This is rare in a young person, but must be ruled out. An exam is the safest course of action.
