If you're experiencing urinary frequency especially in small amounts, nocturia, incomplete bladder emptying, urinary burning, abnormal urinary stream, all of which are lower urinary tract symptoms, you don't need to see a kidney specialist. This depends on what you mean by' serious'. Your referring or treating family MD should know and if it is seious should be able to get you earlier appointment. If this cant be done and you are worried go to an urgent care or ER
