Visual migraine (a visual aura without headache) lasts 15-30 minutes. If the visual symptoms are lasting for hours or days, it definitely not visual migraine and may be a more serious neurological condition. If the visual symptoms are present in both eyes simultaneously then contact your PCP or E.R. If the symptoms are only in one eye, consult with an ophthalmologist immediately.
