Persistent ocular migraine. i have a history of migraine and ocular migraine. ive been having the visual aura consistently since monday. im 67, female and had a complete eye exam last wednesday, complete with pictures of the retinas. no issues?

Contact your primary doctor today. This could be classical migraine auras but might alternatively be warnings of potential stroke (TIA’s). Get proactive and get this under control

Visual migraine (a visual aura without headache) lasts 15-30 minutes. If the visual symptoms are lasting for hours or days, it definitely not visual migraine and may be a more serious neurological condition. If the visual symptoms are present in both eyes simultaneously then contact your PCP or E.R. If the symptoms are only in one eye, consult with an ophthalmologist immediately.
