These symptoms are not characteristic of DVT or blood clot, but are more consistent with musculoskeletal causes. A superficial vein blood clot in the thigh would usually be clearly evident though. Calf pain and tenderness along with some lower leg swelling with or without ankle edema are more typical signs. However, an examination by a physician is recommended for diagnosis and advice.
