I'm taking 2 mg of diazepam (3 per day) for a stiff neck. will caffeine reduce the effect of the relaxant? i have no anxiety, stress, or sleep issues.

Not likely: The sedation effects of diazepam occurs due to effects of this molecule on specific receptors within the brain. Caffeine will likely not affect this to any significant degree. The key is to limit the use of this medication to the least dosage for the shortest period of use. If have been using diazepam for more than a few weeks, then will need to wean off the medication slowly.
