35 y/o healthy female routine blood work showed hgb 16.3 hct 48% rbc 5.48. all other values normal. no symptoms. only complaint is my asthma has been uncontrolled since covid dec 2021. any correlation between the 2? very concerned. thanks?

Beside slightly higher than normal hemoglobin value, your blood work results are unremarkable. Poorly controlled asthma could be the culprit for higher hemoglobin value.

As has been mentioned your thick red blood level is most likely a result of poorly controlled asthma. You must get it under control if it's affecting your oxygenation. I strongly recommend consulting a pulmonologist to help get your asthma under control expeditiously.
