Lying in bed and i've suddenly started taking short sharp pains in my lower left leg. i'm not sure how to describe well. but quick bursts of sharp pain coming and going. could this be a blood clot? normally healthy. vaginal bleeding 6 months straight?

I could not tell you what causes the leg pain but blood clot in the vein (deep venous thrombosis - DVT) does not cause that pain. Blood clot in the artery causes pain but persistently, not wax and wane, and pain starts first from the foot, not leg and skin color becomes pale or cyanotic (purple color). Chronic vaginal bleeding which causes anemia will lower the risk of blood clot, not increase it.
