I had 2 doctors visits i have had extreme pain in my upper jaw by the ear and neck. one doctor diagnosed me with torticlious and the other tmj. the pain seems to leave in the day and always comes back when i lay down. ibuprofen makes it better?

Do you feel your neck is twisted during the discomfort and inablity to move your neck? If not, I tend to favor TMJ. An oral surgeon should be able to clarify a diagnosis of TMJ for you.
