My ear keeps popping and making crackling sounds non-stop, every day. the doctor told me i didn't have an ear infection or wax buildup. could this possibly be a tmj? i was also having head and jaw pressure. almost felt my jaw locked once?

If you can produce these sounds by jaw motions they could be from the TMJ. Since you don't complain of.much discomfort, Since you're also experiencing other discomfort, I think it's worthwhile to consult an oral surgeon for diagnosis and advice at this time.

See a TMJ specialist, you have the signs of this problem. Any time you have pressure and a possible jaw locking than a problem exists. An exam and x-ray of area will reveal the cause.
