Acute treatment: There is no s5 and s6, but a narrowed disc is simply an indication of early/mild disc degneration, which is essentially normal for most patients. If you can't bend forward, acute treatment with an oral steroid pack and steroid and/or toradol injections often will resolve the acute process, and then you can proceed with physical therapy to maintain your motion/flexibility.
