I started on zyprexa getting 9 hours of sleep every night for five years. recently changed to seroquel and was experiencing five hours of sleep and so i went back to zyprexa but i no longer get nine hours of sleep like i used to. does it get better?

I'm not sure if many clinicians recommend antipsychotic medications to treat insomnia. This would be an off label use of seroquel or zyprexa. Someone with experience in their use for insomnia would be best to answer your question. It may have to be your prescribing physician.
