Should i be using zyprexa (olanzapine) every night to get me to sleep? i'm diagnosis paranoid schizophrenic and lot of meds have changed my sleep patterns. poor sleep

This depends: On what your psychiatrist has suggested and prescribed for you. Paranoid schizophrenia is a serious illness, and requires ongoing treatment including antipsychotic medications such as zyprexa (olanzapine). Sometimes these are taken at night, but not always. So yes you do need a medication like zyprexa (olanzapine) -- but you and your doctor need to work together to find a regimen that provides symptom relief.
