For the past few months ive been getting random flutters in my chest, almost like my heart is misfiring and then its followed by a surge of adrenaline. they were pretty small at first but i just had one and it was far more intense. thoughts?

What do you mean by a surge of adrenaline? Your sx can be termed as palpitation which can occur randomly or precipitated by high caffeine intake or stress. At your age, there are 2 conditions come to my mind, either premenopausal syndrome or thyroid disorder. You can try to control the flutter with Valsava maneuver: take a deep breath, bear it down likely you strain for bowel movement & hold it.
