Maybe,maybe not: One of the few things you can do with os is reduce the physical activity level that adds to the process. I've seen cases where the kid was on crutches for a few weeks before the process settled down.Some kids are more prone than others & some sports tend to be more aggravating than others. Try to come up with a reasonable mix of activities that keep the kid happy but less symptomatic. It will pass.
