I got anhedonia from alcohol poisoning, also dont respond to any substance since (alcohol, meds, etc). can one acute large alcohol consumption cause permanent brain damage/destroy neurons (in the reward circuit or somewhere else)?

It is very good first step that you understand your alcohol problem and are motivated to resolve it. Chronic alcohol overuse can cause neurological damage, but usually not any particular episode of intoxication -- unless so severe that there was loss of consciousness and impaired breathing, i.e. anoxic brain damage. Your symptoms now may be more psychological than from brain damage.
