A member asked:

Can you have a false positive antism on avise? ana 1:320 dense finely speckled by hep2, igg 22.46, negative for u1 rnp. symptomatic. rheumatologist saying immune markers are negative?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I am not a rheumatologist but I say that it is important to understand the MD. that has experience and knowledge evaluated you and in context of a comprehensive evaluation gave an opinion that you should respect. The blood markers in itself is not as important because they could be nonspecific; and you have the option of being reevaluated, but a more optimistice healthy approach of being positive
