My 13 y/o daughter was complaining this morning of chest pain before going to school, she doesn't have any more symptoms, she just said that it hurts more when she touch the chest. should i worry? because she's at school and i'm here terrified?

There are a number of simple explanations, from inflammation of the cartilage in the chest wall to GI Reflux to school avoidance. I don't go to serious conditions at all at this age. A scheduled visit with her doc can help sort out the possibilities.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. An additional issue may be breast growth than can be accompanied by discomfort in the chest. For info: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/319270
