Don't forget basics:: It's a good idea to consult with your general pediatrician about this before seeing a specialist. It's not at all unusual for girls to either develop delayed onset of puberty due to excessive exercise or inadequate calorie intake. There are some metabolic disorders, genetic issues as well as endocrine issues to consider in addition to activity and nutrition. Family history is also relevant.
