I'm really confused from my answer. The cdc says a 4th gen hiv lab test is conclusive at 45 days. Do I really need to wait 90 days for a conclusive result?
How fast can HIV 4th Combo Ab/Ag test be conducted? I see people in the US say they have to wait several days to receive results but in Vietnam, the lab sends back the results after 30-60 minutes after blood being drawn from vein. I want more info?
I did a 4th HIV lab test from vein at 42 days. To be sure, I also had fingerprick 4th gen rapid test at 72 days and oral fluid rapid test at 91 days. All 3 negative. Should I worry that I did not wait until 45 days for lab test? Or is 42 days enough?
Is HIV 4th gen AB/AG test at 49 and 56 days. And HIV 4th gen AB/AG at CIMA lab test at 8 week with negative result is it conclusive? Or need to do future testing. Pls advice?
Waited 60-65 hours after my biotin dose of 5000- 10000mcg. Did a LAB 4th GEN HIV test at 85 days exposure. Worried the assay biotin threshold is very low, as the labs wouldnt tell me. Do I need to wait up to a week off biotin and redo my test?
