How to treat a gi bleeding patient who is on lifelong warfarin and aspirin therapy for antiphospholipid syndrome and afib (notes : patient also allergic/anaphylactic to vit k). is discontinuing the anticoagulant wise enough in this situation?

This is much too complex and no way to get valid advice on a forum like this. It depends on the cause and severity of the bleeding, other ongoing health problems, etc. The patient needs to keep working with his or her doctors. Good luck.

When confronted with a situation like yours, I would involve a hematologist,cardiologist, gastroenterologist and an abdominal surgeon to collaborate in your care. Discontinuing anti coagulation in the presence of A Fib is dangerous. There may not be enough time to tie off the left atrial appendage. In the future, since you can't take vit k to reverse warfarin, you may switch to novel anticoagulant
