Scratched a scab on my knee. went to clean it up and saw a big clot formed. i know clotting is normal but is it normal to happen that fast? normally bleeds for a bit. i do have pv, but my cbc is normal as of last week?

You should only concern if bleeding is prolonged not shortened. In polycythemia vera (PV) high platelet count does not mean your bleeding time will be shortened; further, your CBC was normal last week. There is nothing to concern in this case.
