Tested positive for strep. kissed someone in first 5th day of infection. should they also take amoxillin without getting tested. they are saying they have minor throat irritation?

By 24 hours after the start of treatment you would not be considered contagious in common settings. Deep kissing might be an outlier but by day 5, less so. If that person is in your social sphere, they could get it from an asymptomatic source. I don't treat without a positive test. Random use of abx creates more super bugs.
