Probability of ALS is best predicted by family history. If no Family History prob VERY low. There are now genetic tests for ALS. But discuss with your Dr. first. Discuss genetic testing and EMG with team

At your age, the likelihood of ALS is minimal, and based upon your normal exam, there does not seem clinical evidence for any neuromuscular problem other than benign fasciculations. Not clear that an EMG would provide any clarification. However, in view of persistence of symptoms, a second opinion from a neurologist might be helpful.
