Age 58 i am taking clavix 75 and statin ( arvast 40) plus some acid reflux med such as pantocid 40 & ganoton. will these med obstruct or should they be stopped before endoscopy of the gut. ???

You should discuss with the GI specialist if clavix should be held before the procedure. The other three medications should be continued and they can be taken at least 2 hours before the procedure time.

I have been having reflux and swallowing problems. I had a endoscopy and all os fine but am being sent to ENT for more tests. I struggle to swallow food and drink ending up with regurgitation plus gurgling in throat and acid reflux.What could cause?
Endoscopy showed grade B reflux esophagitis. Biopsy says: reflux esophagitis, mild, with focal surface erosion. Is the erosion also mild? I started on 20 mg Prilosec. I still have some regurgitation but no longer burning. Is med likely to heal this?
