I'm 27 & have mild/occasional acid reflux with certain food, not on any med. is there really a need for me to get a upper endoscopy, only reason i even went to GI is trying to find the cause of my PACs but no dr seems to think its related anyways...
I have been having reflux and swallowing problems. I had a endoscopy and all os fine but am being sent to ENT for more tests. I struggle to swallow food and drink ending up with regurgitation plus gurgling in throat and acid reflux.What could cause?
Endoscopy showed grade B reflux esophagitis. Biopsy says: reflux esophagitis, mild, with focal surface erosion. Is the erosion also mild? I started on 20 mg Prilosec. I still have some regurgitation but no longer burning. Is med likely to heal this?
