Accident 8/14 22 staples left inside calf near ankle. small cut 1" from staples is leaking clear some fluid. have edema from staples. no infection. staples come out 9/1 and wound care. bad laceration. using pads for fluid. when will the fluid stop?

Keep wound and area clean and leg elevated most of the time. If it does not stop in 3-4 days or any other change pl see wound care right away.
