A member asked:

If there is a skin infection on the lower legs is it more likely to be bacterial, viral or fungal if its been there for many months??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is best that you have a doctor evaluate your legs to determine the best option for you. There is a need to see and sometimes take cultures or biopsy to determine cause of lower leg infection; and if there is underlying cause to be able to evaluate and manage that as well.
