Can blood pressure be too high to check on a digital blood pressure monitor?

I know of no properly working machine that doesn't measure high blood pressures in a person stable enough to have it taken. Some digital machines give faulty readings when batteries are failing, or they are not used properly. Ask as often as you wish. The answer will remain the same.
