A careful throat & ear examination with a throat culture are indicated. Possible covid test also. You may have otitis media ( infection of ear drum) which requires oral antibiotic treatment and,often, ear drops for pain relief. The throat discomfort may be radiation of pain from an inflamed inner ear.
